Azure DevOps Engineer
Contract

Ranking Order:

1. Microsoft Azure Certification (MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or DevOps equivalent)

2. Azure DevOps (using classic and modern YAML, Multi Stage Pipelines) and Portal (CI/CD) – 3 years

3. Provisioning Azure Resources using scripts such as Terraform, ARM, PowerShell, Azure CLI – 2 years

4. Branching Strategies, Microsoft Release Flow

5. PowerShell, Bash, ARM – 3 years

6. API Gateway, Application Gateway, CDN, Functions – 1 years

7. Networking, Caching

Must Have:

1. Microsoft Azure Certification (MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or DevOps equivalent)

2. Solid 5+ years' experience in release engineering processes including setting up continuous integration and delivery environments in various platforms.

3. Strong experience in Azure DevOps, Terraform, PowerShell, ARM templates

4. Expertise in Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.

5. Designing, building, testing, automating, monitoring and supporting significant components within a modern digital service platform in complex production environments.

6. Implementing Continuous Integration process that encompasses the quality assurance and automated build validation processes.

7. Implementing modern Continuous Delivery processes for releasing software for releasing software from integration environment to production.

8. Experience in implementing Azure Security for APIs and Web Applications.

9. Ensure system compliance with various corporate requirements (for example, security).

10. Ensure uptime of the platform for end-users as well as development teams.

11. Coordinating with the client and offshore members and allocate tasks efficiently among various team members.

Should Have

1. Hands on experience using the Azure administration portal

2. Hands-on experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

3. Experience designing and supporting enterprise core services as well as cloud deployments of these services

4. Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise software products and services

5. Extend standard systems management processes into the cloud including change, incident, and problem management

Nice to Have:

1. Knowledge of at least one other cloud hosting solution in addition to Azure (e.g. Google, AWS).

2. Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery planning experience, a plus

3. Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages

4. Demonstrable experience deploying enterprise workloads to Azure

5. Design and implement data protection options, including HA and BCP protection in Azure
