Candidates will become part of an advanced level 2 team to provide 24x7 support for surveillance, ticket, reporting, performance and fault isolation systems in the SAS operations team. The team supports critical applications as well as develops monitors and automations for the system assurance platforms The team will partner with the DevOps teams, SA/DBA teams, and vendors to develop these monitors and automations while striving to maintain existing tier 1 and tier 2 application SLA's.

Job Duties: Job Duties: Provide 24*7 Operational support for the service assurance critical applications including resolution of outages and system performance issues and root cause analysis. Experienced on DevOps automation tools like Confluence, JIRA, GIT, GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, and Artifactory. Experience on Multiple Operating systems such as Windows and Linux/Unix like Solaris and RedHat, CentOS Linux Develop Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines using DevOps automation tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and AWS cloud. Develop and design automation using scripting languages like Shell scripts, Python for the purpose of monitoring, detecting and resolving issues on SAS platforms. Implement Services like Ec2, Load Balancers, CloudFormation CloudWatch, etc. on Cloud computing platforms such as Amazon web services Develop Application Monitors to identify and determine the root cause of the Service Assurance platform issues Drive the migration of applications to AWS Reviewing, Debugging and analyzing logs to troubleshooting applications and systems issues and root cause analysis. Working knowledge of query language for databases such as Oracle and MYSQL. Coordinate and Perform release activities Maintained proper documentation of the projects. Utilize internal tools for the support of change activity and ticketing functions. Attend Team meetings and provide update the status on activities working. Collaborate with multiple internal teams and vendors to resolve issue and plan and execute maintenance activities

Must Have Skills: Experience in UNIX-based operating systems such as Solaris and RedHat Linux Experience in database applications such as Oracle and MySql Experience in of the DevOps tool chain including Confluence, Jenkins, JIRA, Git/Stash, Ansible, and Artifactory Strong Shell and Perl scripting skills Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Strong written and verbal communications skills Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and plan and execute maintenance activities Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field Required Shift: Standard, flexible, Mon- Friday and occasional weekend work; must be willing to work with VDSI teams (early hours in US) and also must be willing to work with all the teams across eastern, central, and Mountain Time zones in US
