Description:

DevOps Delivery

o Develop and deliver DevOps Consulting Solutions to Our clients

o Provide technical leadership across all areas of the build, release and operations, to ensure delivery of exceptional DevOps technical solutions

o Have at least a broad understanding of technology, process, people, and practice for:

? Agile / scrum methods

? Build and release management

? Infrastructure strategy and operations

? Operations service delivery and support

? IT organizational structure and responsibilities

? Business continuity

? Security

Qualifications: (required qualifications)

• Experience

o 10+ years of relevant work experience

o Ability to work in a distributed and cross functional team environment

o Experience in mentoring and executing Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices

o Extensive experience in IT, leading Operations and Development teams

o Experience in leading DevOps initiative within a large enterprise IT

• Knowledge and Skills

o Strong knowledge of Continuous integration-Continuous Delivery (CI-CD) /DevOps concept and tools

o Strong Software Engineering knowledge

o Strong technical foundation in (most of the following tools):

? Agile Tools (Rally, Jira, Version One, etc.)

? Linux and/or Windows

? Virtualization (VMWare, Xen, KVM, VirtualBox, etc.)

? Cloud Computing (AWS, Google App Engine, Rackspace Cloud, etc.)

? Infrastructure Automation (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)

? Build Tools (Ant, NAnt, MSBuild, Rake, GNU Make, etc.)

? Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, Cruise, TeamCity, Hudson, etc.) (

? SCM Tools (SVN, Git, Perforce, Mercurial, etc.)

? Scripting Languages (Shell, Ruby/JRuby, Perl, Python, PowerShell, etc.)

? Application Servers, servlet containers, and web servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, etc.)

o Knowledge of Agile testing and engineering practices

o Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills

• Certifications (should have some of the industry recognized certifications related to Agile) such as:

o Certified SCRUM Master, Scrum Coach

o SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)

o Certifications in any of the above mentioned technical areas will be an advantage
