Classification: DevOps Engineer

Robert Half is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a client. This role is 100% remote.

Responsible for creating CI/CD Pipelines for various projects including:

• AWS Serverless Functions

• Azure Serverless Functions

• Snowflake Pipelines

• Front-End React Applications

• Mobile React Native Applications

Additional Duties include:

• The DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with Software Engineers to deploy and operate systems across multiple platforms securely and accurately

• Create Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Pipelines using YAML and Azure Pipelines

• Continual automation, integration, deployment, and optimization of software build and deployment systems

• Cloud deployments and maintenance: Set up necessary cloud architecture, manage security and monitor status of all deployed systems Automate and continually improve process leveraging best practice

• Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance, operability, and security in mind

• Leverage programming skills to design and develop DevOps tooling on various infrastructure platforms

• DevOps Engineer will design and develop test automation to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems

• Experience with Git and Trunk Based Development

• Experience with building CI/CD pipelines with Yaml

• Strong analytical skills, extremely detail-oriented

• Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal oversight

• Associate or Professional Level Cloud certification in AWS

• Experience with building Jenkins or Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with cloud Serverless deployments using SAM templates or equivalent

• Experience with Python, Java and React

• Understanding of IoT devices
