GCP SDLC/Devops Automation Role:

Role:

• DevOps roles contributing to automation of the cloud platform:
  • Development of CICD pipelines to support infrastructure and app deployment and SDLC policy compliance
  • Development of automation to support security policies for build or runtime

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute Infrastructure as Code in Terraform, Github pipelines/actions or automation software to accelerate the adoption of cloud
• Setup and build CI/CD tooling, IaC implementation and engineer productivity tooling.
• To assist in the definition of automated processes to enable reduction in manual toil
• To assist in the delivery of best in class SDLC, DevOps and Security Automation

Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands on GCP DevOps Engineer with experience of configuring and deploying services onto GCP using Terraform
• Expertise in IaC-Terraform, Go coding, Java, Shell scripting, deployment automation.
• Proficient in containerization tech - Docker, Helm and Kubernetes, SRE best practices.
• Hands on experience of DevOps automation using custom developed Github Actions and development of reusable actions
• Understanding and experience of key GCP DevOps topics such as credentials/secret management on GCP and Github, GCP deployment approaches, GCP deployment services functionality
• Understanding and experience of key Security topics such as vulnerability scanning, image management and binary authorization
• Experience in scaled usage of Github including organizational considerations, IAM and large scale automation standardization.
