RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Engineer/System Administrator in Phoenix, AZ.

Summary:
This company is the #1 established and/or #1 growing player in its respective verticals. They will be working with preferred next-gen Advancement solution of the "Top 300" fund raising institutions. They will be serving over 50% of the Power-5 athletic programs. As the company grows, this role will shift to either the Cloud Services team or the Central IT team, taking on those responsibilities on a full-time basis. The employee in the position will get to select which direction they would like to go as the company evolves.

Responsibilities:

  • DevOps Engineer/System Administrator will build and maintain systems and services to monitor the health and performance of multiple applications, complying with SLAs as required
  • Manage Incidents following documented processes, including after hours as needed on a scheduled, on-call basis
  • Perform post-Incident after action tasks, including root cause analysis and mitigation where required
  • Design, build, and manage automation to perform standard tasks, such as new employee onboarding account creation, offboarding, patch management, etc.
  • As a DevOps Engineer/System Administrator, you will document work progress and resolution in work management system, such as Jira or MS DevOps
  • Monitor and react to security events in alignment with controls and compliance audits, including SOC2
  • Support internal stakeholders and end users to maintain and improve business operations, including implementing new applications, integrating applications with existing services to improve ease of use, decommissioning, or migrating applications or services, and resolving end user issues while as an escalation point for the IT Support Analyst
  • Document and maintain best practices for DevOps/Cloud Services and Central IT, including knowledgebase articles focused on self-help and educating internal and external stakeholders
