Our Technical Business Consulting client has an immediate need for a GCP DevOps Engineer for a long-term project. Please apply if your background is a good fit.

SUMMARY:

Overall role description:

• Participate in technical planning and reviews

• Support the client Engineering team with solving technical issues.

• Provide input into the overall technical approach

• Investigate & validate solutions to novel technical requirements

• Participates in sprint cadence activities (sprint planning, task estimation, daily scrum, demos, retrospectives)

• Estimates story complexity in the project backlog

• Contributes to implementation of the backlog items

• Creates and maintains application deployment pipelines

• Implements application monitoring, alerting systems and related dashboards

Role Deliverables:

• Current platform DevOps capability implementations and support

• Support migration of current platform from AWS to GCP from infrastructure and DevOps standpoint

• Support different product teams ongoing DevOps support

• Technical Requirements for Role:

• GCP overall knowledge

• AWS Knowledge

• DevOps concepts and CI/CD Knowledge and implementations

• Nice to Have:

• GCP architecture advanced knowledge
