Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Jr. DevOps Engineer to join our financial services team in one of our selected CGI locations. Due to the current COVID-19 status, candidates will not be required to work within the physical work location at this time. When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, they will be required to be located within the proximity of the assigned CGI location.

This will be a L2 support engineer working in Systems environment, should have DevOps, CICD knowledge with exposure to AWS. Blue Prism is an added advantage.

This position will require the candidate to be on call rotation,

Must be able to work off hours when on call. Troubleshoot issues with deployment pipeline in CICD tools.

Must be familiar with DevOps concepts

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Use DevOps practices and methodologies and integrating apps with enterprise tools.

L2 support engineer working in Systems environment, should have DevOps, CICD knowledge with exposure to AWS. Blue Prism is an added advantage.

This position will require the candidate to be on call rotation

Work off hours when on call

Troubleshoot issues with deployment pipeline in CICD tools. Must be familiar with DevOps concepts.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience in Development/ Automation

2-4 years of experience in DevOps practices in building and integrating apps with CI/CD pipeline using GitLab

Should have knowledge on DevOps tools

Good knowledge on full SDLC lifecycle, taking from Dev to Release

Excellent communication, and documentation skills

Professional demeanor

AWS hands-on experience preferred

Blue Prism is an added advantage

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,300.00 - $146,900.00.
