Diverse Tech Staffing is seeking an experienced Release/DevOps Engineer for functional, end to end and resiliency testing of serving components designed to work and scale on hybrid cloud environment. This is a 12-month contract position in Sunnyvale, CA. Work at an amazing American multinational technology company.
We’re looking for a Release/DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for managing the release pipeline. This person will be directly supporting the development and content teams that are creating and publishing content to one of the most trafficked websites. The ideal candidate is someone who has worked in a build/release role previously, has strong communication skills, and who knows how to handle the unexpected.

Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, managing and risk mitigation of release code deployment activities across pre-production and production environments by partnering with multiple project teams in a very fast paced solution driven organization.
- Facilitate and coordinate meetings with the SME’s and cross-functional teams.
- Interact and communicate with different stakeholders and should possess general understanding in the areas of application programming, databases and system design.
- Position requires excellent oral and written communications, detail oriented, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Agile methodology and change management would be added advantage.
- In addition, the soft skills for this position are extremely important; self starter, motivated, innovative, strong confidence to make decisions and come up with new ideas.
