Description
Day to Day:
You will partner with the Summit application development, quality engineering and AppSupport team to ensure code, services and products seamlessly move from development through rollout and into production. Work requires scripting and coding with an eye on automation and continuous integration so that deployments can be split and distributed across multiple development and test teams for the implementation of Summit development projects.
This is a hands-on role that requires analytical thinking, technical aptitude and an ability to work closely with members of the development, infrastructure security, and solution architecture teams (i. e., engineers and testers). This job requires reliance on technical knowledge of the Summit application, Azure DevOps implementation and administration, . NET, structured programming concepts, microservices, architecture and process enhancement to support Summit development and testing efforts. General direction is received from the Summit Delivery Manager, the Summit Solution Architect as well as the DevOps Manager.
Create the standard for implementation and delivery - they are not hands on doing the implementation, but they creating the process.
Understanding of deployment strategies using Docker for containerization
Utilize Infrastructure cloud tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Aspire etc.
Experience with automated testing solutions for unit testing, integration and system testing
Ability to define scalable CI/CD pipelines

Must Haves:
5+ DevOps experience
Senior or Lead experience
Data Dog or New Relic
Azure Devops or bit bucket or Jenkins
Experience working in SCRM/Agile software development environment
Docker and Kubernetes experience
o Understanding of deployment strategies
Infrastructure as code
Ability to define scalable CI/CD pipelines
